This role is for a highly skilled Quantum Applications Engineer to develop and implement quantum computing solutions for aerospace systems in Singapore. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize quantum algorithms specifically for aircraft and drone traffic management and radar systems.
Implement and test these quantum algorithms using quantum simulators and available quantum hardware platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify beneficial quantum computing use cases.
Analyze classical and quantum data to enhance air traffic flow optimization, collision avoidance, radar signal detection, and classification.
Support the integration of developed quantum solutions with existing aerospace systems and infrastructure.
Prepare documentation, technical reports, and presentations to communicate findings and progress to stakeholders.
Required Skills
Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Quantum Computing, Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Strong knowledge of quantum computing principles.
Strong knowledge of quantum optimization algorithms (e.g., QAOA, VQE) and quantum programming frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Qadence, Merlin).
Proficiency in classical programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB.
Familiarity with signal processing, optimization algorithms, and traffic management systems.
Ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Nice-to-have Skills
Experience in aerospace domains such as air traffic management, drone operations, or radar systems.
Experience with quantum hardware platforms (e.g., IBM Quantum, D-Wave, Pasqal, Quandela).
