This Senior Technical Product Manager position is foundational to shaping QuEra's product strategy for quantum computing services, delivered via the cloud and on-premise solutions. The role requires partnering with internal teams and customers to define the product vision, gather requirements, and translate them into a clear, actionable roadmap. The manager will drive project execution, ensuring timely and feasible development while balancing rapid feature development with system stability across the entire quantum computing stack.
Key Responsibilities
Define and articulate the product vision and roadmap for quantum computing services, ensuring alignment with company strategy and customer needs.
Gather and synthesize requirements from various stakeholders, translating them into actionable product specifications, backlogs, and feature timelines.
Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to deliver against specifications and milestones while managing technical uncertainties and priorities.
Lead the planning and execution of product launches, including defining customer adoption strategies and success metrics.
Establish, operate, and continuously refine product management processes to ensure effective execution and decision-making across the company.
Required Skills
7+ years of experience in product management or technical leadership roles.
Strong technical background in the quantum computing stack, including hardware, control systems, compilers, and algorithmic software.
Advanced degree in physics, engineering, or computer science.
Demonstrated success in building and managing roadmaps that bridge science, engineering, and business needs.
Experience converting requirements into actionable specifications and structured backlogs.
Experience with software and/or hardware lifecycle management.
Proven success in project and program management.
Nice-to-have Skills
Proficiency with product management tools and agile methodologies.
Direct experience in quantum computing research or application algorithms like NISQ and early FTQC.
Familiarity with cloud-based services and managed infrastructure offerings.
Experience supporting customer-facing activities such as RFPs and strategic partnerships.
Demonstrated ability to establish and scale product management processes within a growing organization.
