This role is for a Software Test Electrical Engineer focused on developing next-generation control systems for commercial and developmental Quantum Computers. The engineer will leverage their understanding of electrical engineering systems to create embedded software and automated test platforms that integrate and control hardware. Key Responsibilities
Develop embedded software solutions and automated test platforms by leveraging electrical engineering knowledge to integrate and control quantum computer hardware.
Collaborate with electrical engineering and other disciplines to solve software and electrical problems, covering development, debugging, testing, and system integration.
Work actively within a fast-paced research and development and rapid prototyping environment.
Manage and successfully complete assigned projects within deadlines with minimal supervision.
Required Skills
Minimum 4 years of experience in embedded software development.
Minimum 2 years of experience working in an R&D and rapid prototyping environment.
Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher.
Nice-to-have Skills
Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming languages.
Experience developing embedded software for SoC FPGAs using embedded Linux and Vitis SDK.
Experience writing low-level device drivers for various interfaces (e.g., SPI, I2C, High Speed serial).
Experience with Jenkins workflow development.
Ability to use typical lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMM, and logic analyzers.
