Key Responsibilities

Define and document the system architecture and requirements for electrical subsystems R&D on the next generation trapped-ion quantum computer.

Manage system requirements, interface documents, and engineering documentation to facilitate prototyping that contributes to the final system.

Collaborate with system engineers, subsystem leads, and architects to derive, organize, and communicate requirements, verification plans, and interfaces across the development team.

Act as a consultant to subsystem teams, ensuring that derived detailed requirements are understood, mutually compatible, verifiable, and complete.

Enable quick design iterations to prove out system concepts, focusing on value generation during the early stage of system maturity.
