In this role you will act as a scientific thought leader for both customers and colleagues. You will lead a team of talented Application Scientists, providing guidance, support, and expertise to help them thrive. Working closely with our customers, you will play a critical role in enabling cutting-edge quantum breakthroughs. By deeply understanding the problems our customers are striving to solve and showing how our solutions empower their innovations, you and your team will help them achieve transformative progress in quantum technology.

Role Description And Responsibilities

• Advise customers on highly complex quantum challenges and demonstrate how our solutions create impact.
• Work directly with advanced customers to understand needs, configure solutions, and ensure successful adoption.
• Guide solution development and integration, feeding insights into product roadmaps and shaping future capabilities.
• Drive joint collaboration projects with customers, building strong partnerships and accelerating innovation.
• Represent the company at conferences, workshops, and in publications, while staying ahead of industry trends to ensure the team delivers cutting-edge solutions across diverse qubit types, architectures, and experiments.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Application Scientists, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture within and across departments..
• Create and nurture a working environment in which team members feel challenged, motivated, and empowered to develop and grow further.
  
  
  

Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Ph.D. in quantum computing is a must
• Minimum 7 years of hand-on experience in building and debugging experimental setups with RF signals, microwaves, DC equipment, cryostats, QPUs, and other auxiliary equipment
• Proficiency in Python and demonstrable software development skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience mentoring or managing technical teams.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience collaborating with customers and partners on joint research or technology adoption projects.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to balance hands-on scientific credibility and customer influence.
• Multilingual proficiency is advantageous, high proficiency in English is a must.
