This role seeks an experienced Senior Test Manager to join the photonics organization's test team. The primary focus is on developing and improving new testing capabilities, including test enablement, creating new tools, developing testing procedures (recipes), and performing analysis to support critical technical decisions. This position ensures the scaling and efficiency of electrical and optical testing processes for quantum computing hardware.
Key Responsibilities
Improve the system throughput and testing capabilities for electrical and optical tests, focusing specifically on wafer and edge coupling platforms.
Develop new circuit-level test capabilities and expand them into high-speed, yield-capable testing systems.
Increase the availability and throughput of testing tools by designing and implementing improved hardware and software solutions.
Create repair plans for handling complex hardware failures and implement proactive monitoring solutions to prevent future issues.
Collaborate with component development engineers to extend testing capabilities and enhance high-volume production testing processes.
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
10 years of experience in photonic testing or characterization, particularly at wafer or probe scale.
10 years of experience in electronic, RF, and photonic IC testing.
10 years of experience in lab and production scale practice involving imaging and fiber measurement.
Experience in software development, management, and planning.
Experience collaborating with engineers and technologists in R&D and NPI (New Product Introduction) environments.
Nice-to-have Skills
PhD in a related field.
