Key Responsibilities

Lead validation test plans and deliver proof of concept to productization for electro-optical networks.

Required Skills

M.S. or PhD in Physics, Optical or Electrical Engineering with 10+ years industry experience.

5+ years experience designing, validating, and testing optical systems.

Expertise in cross-functional product development and complex products.

Experience designing fiber optic systems, including photonic integrated circuits (PICs) and fiber networking.

Proficiency with optical test equipment including power meters, optical backscatter reflectometers (OBR), and optical spectrum analyzers (OSA.

Experience with software controls in Python, including developing test methods and optimization algorithms.

Experience in product lifecycles, transitioning from R&D to product development, coupled with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-have Skills

Industry experience with electro-optics systems.

Industry experience with optical systems in vacuum.

Experience managing and leading large optical routing and management.

Understanding of photonics, non-linear optics, and thermal stability.
