About Pasqal

PASQAL designs and develops Quantum Processing Units (QPUs) and associated software tools.

Our innovative technology enables us to address use cases that are currently beyond the reach of the most powerful supercomputers; these cases can concern industrial application challenges as well as fundamental science needs.

In addition to the exceptional computing power they provide, QPUs are highly energy efficient and will contribute to a significant reduction in the carbon footprint of the HPC industry.

Overview

PasqOS is the software operating Pasqal's bleeding edge Quantum Processing Units (QPU). It is a fairly complex software that interacts with a lot of hardware written mostly in Python and mixes a lot of other technologies. The build and packaging systems are crucial components.

We are looking for experienced developers interested in working on the Quantum Computing field, and participate to Pasqal technological advances through various projects.

In this context, your main missions will be :

• To enhance and maintain the build and deployment system of PasqOS.
• To enhance and maintain the CI.
• To help implementing a hardware validation system with automated testing and propose strategies to enhance automated validation. Dealing with hardware, emulators, and working on various scientific projects.
• To suggest enhancements in the deployment, integration and update system.
• To suggest improvements to the technologies we use (database libraries, backups, automation and so on).
  
  
  

About You

You have a passion for technologies and you are open-minded with good communication skills.

You have around 5 to 8 years experience on a similar role or as

No need to be a Quantum physics PhD, (we already have a lot of them at Pasqal ;D), but working in this company is the opportunity to talk with experts in various fields and learn many things.

• You master Ansible, Packer and you speak Shell fluently.
• The gitlab CI has no secret for you, and docker is your friend.
• You have a strong experience with Python and its development ecosystem.
• You can develop tools.
• You are comfortable with databases (PostgreSQL, InfluxDB) and their configuration.
• You are familiar with Linux (we use Ubuntu LTS).
