Key Responsibilities

Integrate and deploy quantum algorithms and parallel/distributed variational algorithms for application workflows on HPC and QC systems.
Develop quantum machine learning (QML) algorithms for optimization of multi-state materials design using AI/ML workloads.
Deliver toolkits and new capabilities that execute on ORNL ’s leading computational infrastructures.
Collaborate with diverse teams to develop novel quantum and quantum-inspired algorithms, then verify and benchmark them on available hardware.
Required Skills
Ph.D. in computer science/engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a related domain science area within the past 7 years.
Research track record in data science applications.
Research track record in AI/ML.
