This role seeks a Quantum Engineer to focus on the research and development of quantum gate implementations for superconducting quantum processors. The engineer will develop and refine single- and two-qubit gates, create calibration routines, and analyze gate fidelities to address physical limitations. Key Responsibilities
Develop and refine single- and two-qubit gates for superconducting quantum processors.
Create calibration and characterization routines to ensure accurate gate operation.

Collaborate with design, fabrication, software, and theory teams to boost Quantum Processing Unit (QPU) performance.

Required Skills
PhD in Physics (or related), or similar experience after MSc.
Proven knowledge of gate-based quantum computation.
Experimental experience with superconducting quantum bits or similar modalities.
Python development experience.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Independent problem-solving abilities.
Nice-to-have Skills
Prior work on randomized benchmarking or other gate fidelity methods.
Experience with version control and collaborative software development.
Background in calibration automation or quantum processor benchmarking.
