Develop software components that manage QEC details during quantum circuit compilation, emulation, simulation, and resource estimation.

Integrate or develop real-time decoder technologies for deployment within HPE’s HPC-QC software stack.

Assist with new software development, extend open-source software, and demonstrate combined high performance and quantum computing workflow strategies for applications.

Required Skills

PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics, preferably with expertise in quantum computing.

Minimum of 10 years of programming experience.

Minimum of 1 year of experience implementing software for quantum error correction, covering resource estimation, real-time decoding, or circuit compilation.

Advanced programming proficiency in low-level languages such as C, C++, or Rust.

Advanced programming proficiency in Python.

Deep understanding of Quantum Error Correction codes, including circuit compilation and decoding aspects.

Experience creating or extending quantum computing tools (e.g., Qiskit, CUDA-Q, TensorFlow Quantum, Pennylane).
