• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
• 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

Preferred qualifications:

• PhD in a technology field with relevance to quantum computing (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering).
• Experience with quantum experiments (e.g., execution and publications).
• Knowledge of superconducting quantum computers.
• Excellent leadership skills, energy, and teaming capability, ability to lead and motivate, share direction, inspire and rally colleagues.

In this role, you will ensure our external-facing quantum computers are operational at their highest level of capability. You will work cross-functionally with QAI hardware and software engineers to implement system infrastructure improvements, automation, component and subsystem upgrades, and software enhancements. You will interface with collaborators and ecosystem partners with deep technical expertise to demonstrate experimental results.

The full potential of quantum computing will be unlocked with a large-scale computer capable of complex, error-corrected computations. Google Quantum AI's mission is to build this computer and unlock solutions to classically intractable problems. Our roadmap is focused on advancing the capabilities of quantum computing and enabling meaningful applications.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Act as the main technical interface for external users and ecosystem partners.
• Define and deliver on the external access product roadmap, prioritizing and de-prioritizing features across the stack as appropriate, keeping the team focused on high-impact projects.
• Coordinate with hardware and software teams to provide technical support for users and channel partners.
• Oversee the technical demonstration portfolio, in coordination with Google Quantum AI technical leads, driving thought leadership and community interest through collaborative research projects.
