Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of a critical hardware module, such as imaging systems, optical tweezers, or laser distribution, within the quantum computing system.
Integrate and optimize the assigned hardware module within the overall wider hardware architecture.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software, mechanical, and electrical engineering.
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AMO (Atomic, Molecular & Optical) physics to continuously improve system performance.
Rotate across exciting new development projects after initial hardware development phases are completed.
Required Skills
PhD or Postdoc degree in AMO Physics or a closely related field
Strong hands-on experience with lasers, optics, and experimental physics setups
Experience working with one or more of the following: Optical tweezers or atom arrays, Alkaline-earth-metal or Rydberg atoms, UHV systems for ultracold atoms or ions, High-precision imaging systems, Ultra-stable laser systems
Python programming for automation or data analysis
