This role is for an experienced Generative AI Manager leading international engineering teams within a fast-growing deep-tech company focused on AI and quantum computing. The manager defines technical direction and oversees the full lifecycle of complex projects using advanced AI and quantum technologies. Key responsibilities include leading team performance, managing project timelines and deliverables, and ensuring transparent communication with senior management and clients. The goal is to design, implement, and deploy production-ready Generative AI systems, contributing to the future of GenAI/LLM technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Define the technical approach, design solutions, and ensure quality standards for complex projects addressing industry problems for top-tier clients.
Manage projects from the initial planning phase through completion, including defining scope, setting objectives, and executing deliverables.
Lead, motivate, and guide a diverse team of engineers to foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
Ensure transparent communication regarding project status, milestones, and challenges with senior management and clients.
Contribute to the overall technology strategy by offering valuable client and technology insights.
Required Skills
Master's or Ph.D. in a technical field such as AI, Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering.
Five or more years of relevant industry experience.
Two or more years of successful project management experience leading engineering teams.
Three or more years of hands-on experience designing and implementing Generative AI systems (RAG and Agentic AI solutions).
Experience deploying Generative AI systems in cloud-based production environments.
Expertise in LLM models, including fine-tuning, alignment, pruning, or model compression techniques.
Excellent command of Python, Docker, and Git, including experience with GitHub or Gitlab workflows.
Nice-to-have Skills
Experience with deep learning model compression techniques.
Experience with inference optimization engines such as TensorRT or vLLM.
Experience evaluating Generative AI systems using real, live data.
