Position: Innovation and Technology Offering Incubation USI Consultant
Do you have a passion for innovation and emerging technologies along with a firm foundation in the core principles of technology? Would you like to be a part of the early-stage development of a new firm offering? We are currently seeking a Consultant who will work with Deloitte Consulting’s offering portfolios and industries to incubate and accelerate the early- stage exploration of the next generation of technology-driven Consulting offerings .
As an I&T USI Consultant , you will work with the US team to drive the development of Deloitte’s solutions and capabilities, and support strategic discussions to substantiate client business challenges, critical buying factors, key value drivers, and competitive advantages . You will help shape Deloitte’s ecosystem, capabilities, and solutions for emerging technologies across all industries and clients we serve.
Work y ou’ll d o
- Support the development, design and implementation of models using machine learning or optimization algorithms for Quantum computers
- Support the development of quantum-inspired, tensor-network alternatives for AI and simulation methods
- Support the development of prototypes, proof of concepts and product solutions to bring to market
- Conduct technical research focused on understanding the "art of the possible" for our clients with regards to Quantum Computing and other quantum technologies (communication, cryptography, etc.)
- Understand technical capabilities of Quantum Computing and related technologies and support roadmap design for future use of these capabilities
- Support the development and delivery of Quantum Labs (i.e., "101" and "201" levels) to help our clients understand how to think about - and consider leveraging - quantum technologies and prepare for the future
- Support the development and delivery of training programs to educate clients on the basics of quantum computing with hands-on labs as appropriate ( Quantum computing 101, 102, etc.)
- Support the actions and activities of the USI workstream focused on supporting the development of business solutions enabled by Quantum technologies
- Support the technical development of quantum-enabled solutions
- Work with a remote/virtual, multi-disciplinary team to support the development of industry point of views, eminence, use cases, and demos
- Support coordination of activities with the Quantum Guild to continue to develop the global quantum community at Deloitte
- Support creation of materials and research to support external discussions with clients, alliance partners, startups, and academia on the industry impact of Quantum Computing

The Quantum Offering, within I&T, will drive the ecosystem, capability and solution development to drive the impact of quantum technologies across all industries and clients we serve.
Qualifications
Required :
- 2+ years of relevant consulting experience
- 2+ years of hands-on development experience with python
- 2+ years of data science experience
- Formal education or informal exposure to quantum computing fundamentals
- Experience with Quantum Computing or other related technologies
- Demonstrated experience applying technical capabilities to transform business models, functions and processes
- Strong understanding of linear algebra and advanced math
- Comfortability working on a remote/virtual, multi-disciplinary team
- Experience conducting market research, building strategic roadmaps, and developing business cases
Preferred:
- Experience with high performance computing
- Experience with mathematical and/or scientific computing
- Experience with new product development and hybrid business models and corresponding go-to-market activation
