Key Responsibilities

Develop and apply machine learning models to accelerate molecular and materials discovery, such as drug design and materials research.

Collaborate with internal AI and quantum experts to integrate effective hybrid quantum–classical workflows.

Advise on strategic decisions regarding quantum computing vendors, platform integration, and performance benchmarking.

Lead the development of scalable quantum simulation infrastructure, including strategic planning for in-house quantum systems.

Serve as a technical and scientific lead by communicating key findings through presentations, reports, and scientific publications.

Monitor advancements in AI, computational chemistry, and quantum computing to identify critical opportunities for platform enhancement.

Required Skills

Experience with quantum computing hardware and software ecosystems, including platforms like IBM, IonQ, Qiskit, and Pennylane.

Master's or Ph.D. in computational chemistry/physics, materials science, or cheminformatics focused on machine learning for molecular modeling.

Hands-on experience developing and applying machine learning models in cheminformatics, drug design, or materials science.

Proficiency in Python and machine learning/scientific libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).

Demonstrated ability to design integrated ML–molecular modeling workflows and publish findings in peer-reviewed venues.

Nice-to-have Skills

Experience with quantum chemistry and molecular modeling techniques (e.g., DFT, UCCSD, molecular dynamics).

Familiarity with property prediction, molecular fingerprints, and generative AI for materials or drug discovery.
