This Senior Infrastructure Engineer role focuses on enhancing software development workflows and maintaining the critical infrastructure that powers Atom Computing's quantum computer. Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain on-premise Linux servers and Windows VMs to ensure reliable and performant operation of the quantum computing environment.

Build and optimize systems for monitoring, alerting, and performance metrics in development and production environments.
Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and improve deployment efficiency.
Required Skills
Minimum 5+ years of professional experience maintaining large scale distributed systems.
Strong understanding of cloud deployment and infrastructure management using Azure, AWS or GCP.
Experience with on-premise hardware services including virtualization and containerization management solutions (Proxmox VE, Docker, Podman).
Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions.
Proficiency in designing and implementing metrics, monitoring, and alerting pipelines using Datadog, Grafana, or other observability tools.
Skilled in architecting infrastructure workflows with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm, or Kubernetes.
Nice-to-have Skills
Experience building and scaling a developer operations team, including workflow automation, access management, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Experience managing and optimizing databases, either cloud or on-site.
Familiarity and experience implementing security best practices.
Experience setting up or configuring networks, both physical and virtual.
Experience interfacing with and controlling third party devices like cameras, motors, and lasers.
