Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Engineering, or a related field
5+ years experience in optical system design and development, preferably in optoelectronics, lasers, or optics in computing
Deep understanding of optics, laser physics, and optical instrumentation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice-to-have Skills
Experience with Fourier Optics, flat field relay optical systems, and telecentric imaging
Experience in the design of high-numerical-aperture imaging systems
Proficiency with Zemax, FRED, or equivalent ray-tracing software
Proficiency with Onshape, Solidworks, or equivalent 3D CAD design software
Ability and passion for recruiting Optical Engineers from academia and industry
