AI/Quantum Computing IS Consultant - Relocate to Saudi Arabia, Permanent Expat Relocation Package

Overview:

We are seeking an Information System Consultant to join the Computer Operations Department. Computer Operations Department is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering cutting-edge computing solutions and AI-powered infrastructure that drive digital transformation and support Saudi Aramco's business operations. This includes providing secure, efficient, and reliable computing services that meet the highest standards of excellence, while fostering a culture of innovation, customer focus, and employee motivation. Your primary role is to act as a trusted technical and strategic advisor, support the design and execution of transformative digital and IT initiatives. You will also work closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and executive leadership to identify strategic opportunities, optimize investments, and leverage emerging technologies across AI, Quantum Computing, Cloud, and other domains.

Key Responsibilities:

As a successful candidate you will be required to prom the following:

• Provide expert-level strategic advice on cloud, HPC, AI, Quantum Computing, and other emerging technologies.
• Shape the roadmap for national and corporate technology adoption, particularly in cloud, AI, Edge, and Quantum domains.
• Collaborate closely with senior leaders, technical experts, and external partners across industry, academia, and research institutions to build a cohesive innovation ecosystem.
• Serve as a strategic liaison between business units, technology teams, and executive leadership to align digital initiatives with organizational goals.
• Research, assess, and prototype next-generation technologies to evaluate strategic fit and potential business impact.
• Develop and implement strategies to leverage emerging technologies and trends, ensuring Saudi Aramco remains at the forefront of digital innovation.
• Evaluate and optimize AI infrastructure (e.g., NVIDIA AI SuperPod) for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Lead procurement strategies for large-scale digital infrastructure projects, including hardware, storage, and cloud solutions.
• Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance system and network architectures.
• Lead cloud adoption programs, ensuring alignment with global best practices in security, governance, and architecture.
• Support infrastructure transformation through hybrid cloud and edge computing strategies to improve agility and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal and national entities to establish robust data governance frameworks aligned with regulatory and AI readiness standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• You will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related technical field is required. A Master's degree or Ph.D. in a relevant field is preferred, with a focus on digital innovation, artificial intelligence, quantum computing, or enterprise architecture.
• You will have a minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in digital transformation, IT strategy, enterprise architecture, or a related field.
• You will be also be able to demonstrate experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and quantum computing, including hands-on involvement in architecture, deployment, or strategic adoption.
• You will have a proven track record of leading complex digital transformation initiatives and delivering measurable business outcomes through innovation and technology.
• You will also be able to collaborate with C-level executives, technical teams, and external stakeholders to align strategic vision with operational execution.
• Certification such as TOGAF or Zachman certification in Enterprise Architecture are highly preferred as well as SANS GCIA certification or equivalent in cybersecurity.
• You will have a strong technical foundation in AI and machine learning, including experience with deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and AI infrastructure optimization.
• You will also be Familiar with quantum computing principles, technologies, and potential enterprise applications.
