This role seeks a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead the technical development and ownership of the company's hybrid on-premise and cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
Design infrastructure solutions specific to quantum measurement needs and define technical standards for the organization.
Lead strategic, high-impact projects, including migrating systems like JupyterHub and legacy applications to Kubernetes.
Implement and maintain essential servers that support the company's quantum operations.
Complete the deployment and maintenance of the monitoring stack, specifically using Grafana and node-exporter, across all infrastructure.
Propose and implement innovative solutions necessary to support the company's rapid growth and evolving technical requirements.
Provide technical support and advisory to teams on infrastructure matters to drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills
Expertise in Linux (specifically Ubuntu).
Expertise in system architecture.
Core expertise in containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
Proficiency in Python, including scripting, automation, and code understanding.
Hands-on experience operating and maintaining Kubernetes in production environments.
Proven ability to design and implement scalable architectures for high-performance computing.
Experience managing hybrid on-premise and cloud infrastructures.
Nice-to-have Skills
Experience with JupyterHub in administration and deployment.
Exposure to multi-user, scalable notebook environments.
