The Maintenance Planner/Method Supervisor ensures operational excellence for complex cryogenic infrastructure essential for quantum computing development. This role involves translating advanced engineering designs into proven, repeatable procedures to guarantee the safe, reliable, and consistent performance of equipment. Key activities include developing comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance schedules, establishing standard operating procedures, and ensuring strict compliance with safety and environmental management systems (ISO standards).
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for critical infrastructure, including clean room equipment, cryostats, and precision laboratory instruments.
Establish and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for maintenance activities within sensitive, high-containment environments to optimize processes.
Ensure strict compliance with international standards, specifically ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 protocols for environmental, safety, and energy management.
Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, and manage safety permits to implement necessary preventive measures and enforce contamination risk control in clean rooms.
Maintain accurate asset registers, equipment histories, and maintenance documentation while managing spare parts inventory and procurement logistics.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in maintenance planning within high-tech, semiconductor, cryogenic, or clean room environments.
Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, or a related engineering discipline.
Knowledge of maintenance planning tools such as CMMS/EAM or MES.
Knowledge of ISO management systems (14001, 45001, and 50001).
Knowledge of Cryogenic systems and contamination control.
Strong organizational and scheduling abilities.
Professional-level English proficiency (written and spoken).
Nice-to-have Skills
NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety.
CMRT (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician) or equivalent certification.
Cleanroom Operations Certification.
